EC Markets Secures Triple Win at the Global Forex Awards 2026

Sep 16, 2026 5:11 PM

We’ve been recognised with three global titles at the Global Forex Awards 2026 – Retail, spanning trading conditions, gold trading and copy trading:

  • Best Copy Trading Platform – Global
  • Best Gold Trading Broker – Global
  • Best Low Spread Broker – Global

The recognition is particularly meaningful because it spans three distinct areas of the trading experience.

Now in their eighth year, the awards recognise brokers and fintechs across the international retail forex industry, with categories spanning both global and regional markets. More than 25,000 public votes were cast in 2026, making this the biggest year for the awards to date.

Three Awards. One Trading Experience.

Each title represents something different, from the conditions traders access to the technology shaping how they participate in the markets.

Best Low Spread Broker recognises one of the fundamentals of trading: cost. Competitive pricing has long been central to our trading conditions, supported by M.A.T., our multi-liquidity aggregation technology, which brings together pricing from multiple liquidity providers to help deliver tighter spreads and efficient execution.

Best Gold Trading Broker recognises our offering in one of the world’s most actively traded markets. Gold remains an important market for both our clients and global partner network, where competitive trading conditions, reliable execution and a strong partner proposition all matter.

Best Copy Trading Platform reflects the continued development of our copy trading ecosystem. Through EC AutoTrade and Copy Wealth, clients can choose between different approaches to copy trading, from proportional automated replication to greater control over individual copied positions. EC AutoTrade also operates on a high-water mark model, meaning performance fees apply only to new gains above the previous equity peak, rather than simply to recovered losses.

While each title recognises a different part of our offering, together they reflect the work happening across pricing, markets and technology.

Recognition Shaped by the Trading Community

Public voting plays an important role in determining the winners, which makes the recognition especially valuable to us.

More than 25,000 votes were cast this year, while almost 295,000 verified votes have now been recorded across Holiston Media awards to date.

Our Group Chairman and CEO, Matthew Smith, commented:

“We’re very pleased to receive recognition across three areas that are important to the experience we provide our clients. Pricing, gold trading and copy trading are very different parts of our business, so seeing all three recognised is a reflection of the work happening across our teams.

We’ve made a deliberate decision to keep investing in the infrastructure behind the trading experience, from how we source pricing and liquidity to the technology and products we develop.

What makes this particularly meaningful is that traders had a voice in the outcome. I’m proud of what our teams have achieved, and grateful to everyone who took the time to vote for us.”

The three titles come as we continue to invest across our trading infrastructure, technology and product offering, while expanding our presence internationally.

Recognition is always welcome, but its real value is in what it represents: feedback on the areas we have chosen to prioritise and a reminder to keep improving them.

Don’t just read the market.
