EU still in the eye of the storm, USA disappoint
As the problematic situation of the banking system in Spain continues to worry both its citizens and the international markets, news coming from Greece add fuel to the flame: polls show that voters are keen to elect those parties who oppose the austerity measures needed to continue receiving international bailout packages, including the European one.
Last week's economic data about the situation in the U.S. were, if not equally, disappointing too, as the crisis of the Euro Zone seems to affecting also the US economy which is slowing down.
This lead to speculations about possible economic easing maneuvers to be announced soon by both the Fed and the BCE, which would try - using quantitative measures - to use these tools to boost growth.
